The differences between the First and the City

Both designed in the early 2000s by Nicolas Ghesquière, the Balenciaga First and the City embody THE It-bags of their time. Seen on the arms of Kate Moss or the Olsen sisters, these bags are a safe bet, the timeless companion that will follow you on all your adventures!

Although very similar in appearance, there are still some differences to note.
First of all, the City has a much larger capacity than the First. It is perfect as a school bag, if you want to fit a computer in it, while the First has a smaller capacity, which makes it more of a small handbag ideal for your outings.

In addition, the City can be carried by hand, on the shoulder, as well as around the body, crossbody. The First, due to its smaller size, can only be carried by hand and on the shoulder!
