General Terms and Conditions of Use

Purpose and access to the site

The website amanavintage.fr is operated by UTOPIA SAS under the AMANA brand. Our contact details are provided in the legal notice. These Terms of Use govern the use of the site; purchases are subject to the Terms of Sale, and buyback or consignment transactions to a separate contract.

The site can be browsed without creating an account. Certain features require identification. When using them, you undertake to provide accurate information and to protect your access credentials. Please report without delay any unauthorized use of which you become aware.

Use of the services

You undertake not to disrupt the operation of the site, attempt to access unauthorized areas, commit fraud or infringe the rights of others. Photographs, texts, signs and other protected content may not be reused beyond what is permitted by law or authorized by their rights holders.

In the event of a security risk, fraud or an established breach, AMANA may take a proportionate measure to restrict or suspend the access concerned. You will be informed of this where possible and compatible with legal obligations and security. A restriction of access does not remove your rights regarding an order already concluded, your warranties or your right to a refund that is due.

Automated extraction and artificial intelligence

Unless AMANA has given prior written authorization, it is prohibited to extract, collect, copy or reuse, in an automated or systematic manner, all or part of the content of the Site, in particular product pages, photographs, descriptions, prices, availability and reviews, by means of robots, scraping tools, site harvesters or artificial intelligence tools. This prohibition applies in particular to automated price monitoring, the building of a database, dataset or competing catalog, the resale of data and, unless authorized in the robots.txt file, the training or feeding of an artificial intelligence model.

In accordance with Article L.122-5-3 of the French Intellectual Property Code, AMANA expressly opposes text and data mining on all of the Site's content, with the exception of robots expressly authorized by the Site's robots.txt file and within the limits of that authorization. This opposition is also expressed by machine-readable means, in particular the robots.txt file and the Site's metadata. The Site's content is protected by copyright and, as a database, by Articles L.341-1 et seq. of the same code.

These restrictions do not apply to normal browsing of the Site, to its indexing by search engines, to access to a page by an assistant or shopping agent used by a visitor for their own needs, or to the commerce channels and protocols made available by AMANA or its provider (in particular the Site's agentic commerce protocol, Shop, the Shopify catalog and merchant feeds such as Google Merchant Center). Any unauthorized extraction may result in access being blocked and legal action.

Availability and liability

AMANA operates the site with due diligence. Interruptions may occur, in particular for maintenance or due to an incident. No provision of these Terms of Use limits AMANA's legal obligations toward a consumer or its liability in cases where the law prohibits excluding it.

Links to third-party sites are identified as such. The terms of those sites apply to their services, without removing AMANA's own responsibilities.

Data, complaints and amendments

The privacy policy sets out the use of personal data and the means of exercising your rights. Any consent required for marketing communications or trackers is the subject of a separate choice.

You can contact AMANA at louise@amanavintage.fr. For a consumer dispute relating to a contract, the complaint procedure and the competent mediator are specified in the Terms of Sale or the relevant contract.

Amendments to the Terms of Use are dated and made accessible. They do not retroactively modify contracts already concluded. Mandatory consumer protection provisions and the legal rules on jurisdiction remain applicable.

Are the bags authentic?

At Amana, authenticity is at the heart of our commitment.

All the bags we sell are 100% authentic.

To guarantee this, we have put in place a rigorous authentication process:

Human expertise: Each bag is first examined meticulously by our experts specialising in luxury leather goods.
AI verification: We also work with an American company that uses artificial intelligence to analyse every detail of the bag, including the materials, stitching and logos.
Certificate of authenticity: Once authenticated, each bag comes with a certified authenticity card, guaranteeing its origin and history. You can verify the information on your authenticity card via this link.

What is Amana's return policy?

Free returns within 14 days
You have 14 days after receipt to inform us of your decision to withdraw, without giving any reason, then 14 days to return the item. Returns are free, regardless of the delivery country: we provide the label.

How does it work?
Use our online withdrawal form, your customer account or write to us at louise@amanavintage.fr.

Refund
We refund the price and standard delivery costs no later than 14 days after your request, using the payment method used. We may wait until we receive the item or proof that it has been sent. Full details are in our Returns Policy.

What delivery options are available?

At Amana, we offer several delivery options:

Mainland France — Chronopost : any order paid for before 3 pm on a working day is dispatched the same day and is generally delivered the following working day, to your home or to a pick-up point.

European Union and the rest of the world — UPS : delivery generally within 3 to 5 working days after dispatch.

The charges and timeframe applicable to your order are shown before payment. To ensure safe delivery of your parcel, home delivery may require a code sent by e-mail or SMS. Details in our Terms of Sale.

Do you have a showroom or a store?

Currently, Amana Vintage operates exclusively online. We do not have a showroom or a physical boutique, but we do everything we can to offer a quality customer experience with detailed descriptions, precise photos and responsive customer service.
